Description
Considering its sativa-dominant lineage, Desfrán’s flowers tend to be dense and compact, shaped like a serrated pinecone. Its pale green leaves are outlined, as if in white chalk, by a thick ring of milky trichomes and pale amber pistils (hairs).

The dominant terpenes (aromatic oils) in Desfrán include an intricate mix of myrcene, caryophyllene, linalool and pinene. Myrcene, the most common terpene in cannabis, provides fruity and creamy caramel aromas and is thought to offer a sedative experience. Found in abundant quantities in savoury herbs and sweet spices, caryophyllene is being investigated for its moderating effects within the human endocannabinoid system. Linalool, most commonly associated with lavender, has been reported to offer relaxing effects, as it does in lavender-scented aromatherapy products. Additional notes of citrus and mint come courtesy of pinene, a terpene that may contribute to a more uplifting experience.
